Apple Event October 18th Return of Magsafe to MacBook Pro??

Apple has confirmed that it will hold a new product introduction event. Apple Event was previously used by Apple as the stage for introducing the iPhone 13. The next Apple Event will be held at Apple Park located in Cupertino, California, on October 18 at 10:00 local time.

The announcement of the second round of Apple Events was delivered by Apple's SVP Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak through an upload on his personal Twitter account. Apple has not revealed the type or name of the device which will be announced later. However, Apple is allegedly going to launch a new laptop from the MacBook Pro line. That said, this device will be available in two different models, namely 14 inches and 16 inches, which are framed with thin bezels. Both MacBook Pro models will reportedly have a resolution of 3,024 x 1,964 pixels and 3,456 x 2,234 pixels. The latest MacBook Pro is said to be equipped with an Apple M1X chip which is claimed to have better performance than its predecessor, the M1.

Other specifications that will be brought by the latest MacBook Pro series are said to consist of 32 GB RAM with 10 cored CPU and 16/32 core GPU.

Not only in terms of specifications, this new MacBook Pro device will also experience an overhaul from the design aspect. This is indicated by the presence of a mini-LED screen, although its appearance and function are not yet clear. The appearance of this new MacBook Pro will likely be the debut of the return of the HDMI port and microSD card slot. In addition, MagSafe will return as a charging system to replace USB Type-C.

In addition to the new MacBook Pro, Apple is also rumored to be introducing the AirPods 3 which carries a design that is almost similar to the AirPods Pro. AirPods 3 allegedly will come with a shorter stem design, without the Active Noise Cancellation feature, and have a more affordable price.

At the same time, Apple may also provide more details about the release date of macOS Menterey

Previously, well-known leaker Jon Prosser also predicted that Apple would also introduce the latest generation of Mac Mini devices that would use the M1X chip. A series of information above, of course, is still just a rumor. We still have to wait until Apple actually announces it officially next October 19.
